Pleasant surprises and impromptu invitations often become the start of a new and rewarding life path, this turned out to be the case last fall when Directors Mark and Kris attended a Rum Master Class at The Distillery in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Manila, last fall.
We were offered a complementary cocktail to get things going which only I accepted as I am more of the cocktail end of the rum spectrum, tasted a variety of fine sipping rums and were also treated to many delicious snacks. Somehow along the way, we took another look at the idea of opening a rum import business and decided it was on!
